Excellent My highest recommendation for staying in Lalibela. Staff and food excellent. Rooms nice, clean. Bathroom clean and big, with warm water. WiFi works perfect. Location great-near first group of churches, close to restaurants and coffee shops, souvenirs shops. Peaceful accommodation with big and private Terrasse. Possible to hire a van! I stayed 12 night and will be absolutely my first choice for next time. Thanks to all staff and manager who took care of me.

Hôtel correct et propre Nous avons passés deux nuits au Tabor hôtel. La chambre est jolie, confortable et propre. Nous n'avons pas eu de problème. Le restaurant est classique. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est pratique car il est proche du groupe Sud-Est des églises de Lalibela.

A good location to stay in Lalibela We stayed at the hotel for three nights and the staff could not have been more helpful. We had problems with suitcases stuck at airports and leaving things in restaurants, but nothing was too much trouble and all of the staff were really delightful. The hotel itself lacked pazaz and at times the water in the showers didn't come hot, but the staff made up for it as they were so smiley, helpful, polite and wonderful. We ate in one night, and supper was very good. The porridge with banana and honey for breakfast and the coffee were delicious. It's not the smartest hotel in Lalibela, but its in a good location and Id definitely recommend it if you just want somewhere clean and simple to stay.

Delightful in every way The hotel is beautiful with garden and terrace, big comfortable rooms and a nice restaurant. The staff are exeptionally friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful visit enhanced by the superb guide saleamlak (saleamlk@gmail.com). This young man is passionate about lalibela, his English is excellent and his knowledge exceptional.

Quaint, neighborhood hotel with excellent service! We stayed for 2 nights and found the rooms comfortable and clean. The restaurant served fresh, tasty food. The hotel staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed delicious coffee on the patio each morning.

Excellent! This is a well located, newer hotel that was clean, had good wifi and a very friendly staff. We had dinner in their on site restaurant and we were a little worried since the menu was a hand written piece of paper but everything we had was excellent! We'd definitely stay here again.

Good location. Great food. Nice rooms. Great location as its walking distance to all the churches. Nice patio for eating. Food was good. Hosts were super hospitable and helpful. Stores for purchasing water are just down the street and those owners were super sweet! But to get there, you have to deal with the onslaught of hustlers who beeline for you and harass you the entire time. It was so bad we never wanted to walk around and thats bad for business. There is one ATM just at the intersection (Commercial Bank) and another one (Dashen) down the road (west) on the right. Water was a dribble. It was blamed on construction of road which cut off water supply to town. No big deal really and understandable considering where you were (on top of a mountain in a place that does not have a lot of water). They turn off electricity during the day, so no WiFi. In evening, WiFi was good enough and comparable to all of Ethiopia. Biggest issue was getting bit at night. There were fleas in bed and we all got bites. Only place in entire trip where this happened. Bring bug spray and spray around the beds thoroughly,

Comfortable, central and clean We had great time at Tabor. It is a brand new hotel walkign distance from the churches. Nice terrace where to have breakfast or dinner after a long day walking around. Clean rooms and excellent service. Hotel has also restaurant, food is really good.

Puces? Je ne peux pas le prouver formellement mais mes 3 nuits dans cet hôtel ont été marquées par une attaque de puces. Évidemment le résultat est désagréable et les piqûres ont cessé une fois le séjour terminé Cependant, l’hôtel est propre, le personnel est extrêmement aimable et serviable, le petit déjeuner correct même si les portions de confiture ou de miel sont microscopiques

Excellent hotel I stayed a week in Tabor hotel. It is a new hotel. The location is excellent, the staff is very nice, it has a lovely small garden with many birds and terrace,the rooms are comfortable and the cleaning is very good. Much value for your money I think. I will certainly come back to this hotel.
